Jared Anderson, FNP-C

Nurse practitioner Jared Anderson is a nationally board-certified family nurse practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Jared brings 10 years of surgical nursing experience from a Level I Trauma Center in Dallas, Texas. The different types of surgeries that he both scrubbed and circulated include general, plastics, ENT, colon/rectal, gynecological, genitourinary, thoracic, trauma, peripheral vascular, transplant, oncology, and robotics. He also provided critical nursing care for surgical and trauma patients in the intensive care unit. This unique experience has given him invaluable expertise in the overall care of perioperative patients.

Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Jared cared for patients in both the operating room and the surgical intensive care unit. Having first-hand knowledge of what occurs during surgery gave Jared better insight into the post-op care of his patients. Alternatively, understanding the care required for recovery improved his intraoperative skills and decision-making.

“With this unique perspective and experience of the entire surgical care process, I can provide patients individualized, quality care with professionalism, expertise, and empathy,” Jared says.

As a nurse practitioner for Axis Brain and Back Institute, Jared provides comprehensive care by treating patients in the clinical setting and assisting Dr. Aryan during their surgical procedures.
